Tell It To Me Straight, Sunshine

Tall, straight eucalyptus trees stand like sentinels over the hills around my area. Despite being closely spaced, there is still enough room to allow for clear, dappled sunlight to filter through branches on crisp, autumn afternoons like this one.

This painting was created on-site (en plein air) along the Kaoota Tramway Track. The afternoon light shifted quickly, but lit up the tree canopies across the valley beautifully.

MEDIUM: 

Unless otherwise stated, all of my paintings have been created with artists-quality oil paints on pre-primed/gessoed panel. They are finished with artists' quality retouch varnish.

Every painting is hand-signed, and comes with its own Certificate of Authenticity. A letter of provenance outlining its life from inspiration to purchase is also included with each piece.

FRAMES:

My paintings are framed in raw Tasmanian oak float frames that have a shadow line between the painting and the frame edge. All frames come ready-to-hang, with D-Hooks and wire on the reverse side. Paintings are 6cm / 2 inches wider and taller when framed.
